Living Community of St. Joseph offers an exceptional rehabilitation department. Our in-house rehab team has over 200 years of combined experience. Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy are all on site and treat both in and outpatient caseloads.

Occupational therapists educate patients on activities of daily living, provide upper-body strengthening and teach energy conservation.

Physical therapists focus on progressive-ambulatory skills, strengthening the lower body and provide modalities for pain management and neuromuscular re-education.

Speech therapy provides cognitive services, communication training, therapeutic swallowing and eating functions. Our therapists provide innovative and caring services. We are proud to have over 70% of our skilled residents return home after completing rehabilitation. Our goal is to achieve each resident’s optimum rehabilitation potential.
